Never sold one for a movie but I have sold one for a Theater Prop in New York. It’s exciting thinking about how many people may see your work but it’s also odd. Like what do they do with them after set? Throw them in a trunk, toy box? Are they taking care of them or will they look like trash after a few scenes? Anyways, Congrats on the $700 that’s a good chunk of money

I had the same thought one of the Forum members had one sold to someone that used it for his youtube antics .
And while it is exciting once it is sold you have no control over its care no more than if a child got it and didn’t care for it .

Yes as I said once it is sold you have no control over it since it is no longer yours but that is true whoever you sell it to .
And in this case think of the exposure she will get and the pleasure knowing her work is going to be seen by so many people and she gets paid for it as well.

Right. I have no control over it. But I did some research on the shipping address and email I was given when I was contacted. Its legitimate. So I’m happy.
700$ was low for her. I’ve sold so many toddlers for 1200$ but I have had her for months and needed her out

Congrats! I sold one to be used as a stand in for a commercial in Canada. It would have been in the actual commercial if the baby was uncooperative. It’s now showing in the US. It’s a Wall Street Journal commercial where the baby is born in a taxi and it shows her as she grows up. They not only paid for the reborn but paid to have it over nighted which was crazy expensive from Texas to Toronto.

Congratulations on the sale! I would ask them what show it is for so we can watch for your baby.
How exciting.
