Silicone paint

I have a lady wanting me to fix her full silicone baby she ordered and it’s not painted well, what kind of paint do I need to use?

I don’t know much about painting silicone but I do know you must use silicone based paints and they are prettyyyy pricy even for trial sizes.

If I’m not mistaken, silicone paints are just oil based paints with a silicone additive… do some general searches and you’ll see what I saw, I’m sure.

Silicone has to be painted with special silicone paints. Amazon has a sample pack of 9 colors of Silc-Pig for $39.95. MacPhersons has a silicone face you can practice on.

Hope this helps! I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems like a much cheaper alternative!

I’ve heard they are very difficult to paint. I would really want to practice on something small before committing, because your skill level probably won’t transfer over right away.

No problemo!! And it’s actually a great, easy-to-follow tutorial!! All you need now is a silicone kit that’s affordable, haha

Can you paint FuseFX platinum silicone paint like the ones at McPhersons on a silicone baby that’s poured in ecoflex 20?
