Silicone blanks ISO

Looking for silicone blanks. I am going to give it a go. My goodness prices have gone up, not sure if that is greed and silliness or something going on with the price of raw materials (more silliness) who knows.

If anyone knows of a new artists, or artists who have blanks for sale, or you bought one and would like to resell it, I am interested.

Have an awesome day

Price of everything will go up. If minimum wage is raised, then employers have to increase the price of their products. Taxes go up = increase in prices. Cause and effect… Transportation and limitations on drilling = increase in fuel cost.

I want to go too, lol. I have been putting it off for a lot of reasons. Hope that going on a new venture will spark my interest in painting babies again.

I"m wanting to learn for purely selfish reasons - I want one - they are expensive - and far more affordable if I create one myself!

Same here, lol. Please share as you go along. It all seems so complicated but I’d like to have one with all the bells and whistles. But I have to start somewhere.

I’m still in the research phase - trying to find the best and most reliable products to start.

I took a silicone painting workshop from a pretty well known artist and the general rule is that if you pay for a workshop you don’t teach or give away what you learned. Not everyone honors that. I only put on You Tube what I learned on my own. I did what everyone else did and hit You Tube hard when I was learning to reborn and paid for some tutorials but I You Tube things I mostly worked out on my own or in my own way.

Silicone is pretty slow and noisy also. I may video the progress?

It is very expensive. If you have ever melted a kit and cried, Imagine ruining or contaminating a 1700 silicone. I am terrified.

I would be scared to even get it out and set it on the table…that’s petrifying :scream:
