I’m loving all these babies. Now I have even more kits to add to my wish list. Does anyone have an Eliza? I have been patiently waiting for her to come back in stock. Now that she is back, I ordered her. But I have never seen any examples except the one prototype like the real baby.

Wow,you have been one busy lady how long have you been reborning?
I started reborning in 2003 or 2004 and made 2 babies then I found out I was pregnant with my third and decided to pack that hobby up and didn’t start again until 2012 when my kids were older. So I really started reborning 6 years ago and I just hit 100 babies about 2 weeks ago. Right now I’m working on 105, those ones are in various stages of completion. All of my kits have been from BB and I recently only made my first two Realborns. I have ordered quite a few Realborn kits, but haven’t touched them until now. I don’t know, I’m kind of weird I don’t want to “use” them, even though I could just get more. And when I first started I only worked on the kits that I didn’t think were that cute because for some reason I always want to save the “good” ones, just call me strange. I’ve learned that most of the time a kit that doesn’t seem the cutest usually turns out to be my favourite. Maybe because it ends up more real looking than pretty looking.

Don’t be lonely-I’ve had my “good ones” in storage for 2 yrs-waiting to get good enough myself to do them as well as I picture them in my mind.Any one else holding favorites back?

I have all the limited edition realborns (mostly seconds) sitting in a bin waiting for me to get good enough to make them how my mind pictures them. I also have 2 kits to make portrait babies of my grandson. But I’m not good enough to do those yet either. So yeah…y’all aren’t alone. 
You guys sound like me. I have only made 1 reborn and that was around 2007 and I haven’t done any since. I want to get back into making reborns but I have a lot of kits that I am holding onto until I get good enough to do them. LOL

Is that a sign of a frugal personality 
? Wow 100 babies! Where are you now on average time it takes you to make a doll? When you finally painted a realborn did it make you feel like not going back to the regular babies? I feel like us newbies are very spoiled going into this hobby with all these amazing readily available products to use and the sculpts available now.
