9 months in Carters and most brands. I’d stick with that size or 9-12 mon.
Gymboree brand runs small. I recommend 9-12 clothing

You won’t regret him. His kit is lovely.
I tried a body that seemed appropriate for his chunkiness but felt he looked to over stuffed.
I then went back to the BB body that was recommended and felt he looked perfect. Wierd because after looking at other Joseph’s with original body, I thought his head and limbs looked awkward.
I do believe it’s how you stuff him. But, that’s based on my own experience.
