Saving $$$ at the Dollar Tree

So I’m stocking up on my supplies, and found a lot of useful items at the Dollar Tree. I was surprised to find Mod Podge there. Anywho…o needed a paint brush caddy/holder, and didn’t want to spend a lot of money for one…so I brought a toothbrush family pack, and Voila…paint brush holder!!!

I got some nice sponges there too…not too bad, Dollar Tree…not too bad!

Where are your favorite places to get supplies?

Yes, one of the makeup brushes make an excellent mop brush. I even purchase the 12 pack little containers amd pre mix colors so they’ll be ready when it’s time to pain.

Absolutely! The Dollar Tree is a great start. Each store locations have different items…i scooped up everything from different stores. I also find great things at local thrift stores. Just yesterday i found a brand new bag of Polly-fill for $2!

I also score by going to retail liquidation sales. Big lots is closing a store, and everything is clearanced…so i buy up all the baby items. K-Mart is closing…so i will go and buy up as much as I can! Im all about saving

4 at the moment plus adding little touches to Shaynn that’s been sitting around forever lol

Love the toothbrush holder idea. I’ll need to look for that next time, as I always stock up on toothbrushes from there. I just bought some empty plastic shoe containers today. See-thru pink, blue, and purple. I’ll have to gather my finds together and post a pic.

A couple weeks ago i went to the goodwill that is pretty much down the road from me. I was looking for more mason jars for my premixed paint and thinner. I found about 5 or 6 baby food size mason jars. I recently went there on saturday…the first saturday of the month where everything was half off. I found a cute little glider type baby swing for $20 but only paid $10. I gotta wash the fabric but its still in decent shape. Id post a pic but its still sitting in my car trunk…lol

Ok…I’m so glad you said that about the jars. Thank you for pointing that out. I will stick with my glass jars, and do something else with the plastic ones!!!

I haven’t had any issues with them yet. But I’ll be sure to be careful. Thanks!

I go to many of my local thrift stores, and I always see baby items. I lucked up on the walker…they go for $80-$100 online.
