REBORN DOLLS - BEWARE - Scammer site stealing photos, CALL TO ACTION, new sites are opening and using different artist photos

Well if that doesn’t turn someone off from buying from an unheard of company rather than buying directly from artists, I don’t know what would.

But the top winner for me is this one, next to the glasses cases

I thought this was a bar of soap. Either way, it’s bad!

I just saw this news story today. Even with this, people are never going to learn.

And I’m sorry, yes there are some reborns that look realistic, but they don’t actually look like real babies like real babies do. There is def a difference in look. You can just tell right away. And a $50 doll for a toddler??? What the heck??? A reborn?

The reporter is asking people to email him who have been scammed

Yes! That is awesome that someone is finally taking this serious! Hopefully it will make a huge dent in the scammers sales, but I unfortunately know it won’t completely stop them. Hopefully people will realize what all of you have said and have been trying to tell them all along…you will never get that quality of doll for the price they are selling. You will not get a full silicone doll for $100…unless the entire doll fits in the palm of your hand. Thank you very much for sharing this @jlesser!:heart::heart:

I hope this reporter understands and makes it known in his report that you can’t get that reborn doll pictured for anywhere near the price people are paying. These people who got scammed should know that a quality reborn costs money.

The funniest thing is there is a pub for this exact web site on the article. It may be just for me, as pub where marketed (I have took a look onnthis crap site to see if my pictures were stolen) but the irony…

Somebody needs to let the reporter know that all reborn dolls are not scams and that it cost much more than that to purchase a reborn doll made by an actual artist.

I saw that earlier too :frowning:

Last night I saw a fake Lou Lou blank kit for sale from a Chinese seller on eBay. I almost posted it here.
