Reborn American Girl dolls

I just bought these 3 to bring new life to. Anyone else ever reborned an AG?

At least 1 should be a boy I think.

Oh this will be interesting to see. Take pictures when you get them taken apart, are their limbs and heads hollow like kits, I wonder if they’re filled with something? Are they soft vinyl or hard?

No idea, so I’ll take pics of the process if you like.

Truthfully, I don’t like the faces of AG, so I can’t wait to see how they can look.

My sister cleans and fixes them but she hasn’t tried to paint them. I can’t wait to see how cute yours will be.

Oh good, my first question is how to clean them up before painting.

She said to check out AGSnapshots on YouTube or any orher one, and it’s pretty easy. 1 thing is when the eyes got wet with plain water the whites turned grey. She said mainly warm water and dawn, for the not so bad ones, and yours don’t look to bad.
edit , did you think about wigs or rooting? She recommended wigs, but not sure if you can get them from AG . hobby lobby has some but she didn’t like them.

No, but I’ve got one I’ve been thinking about doing. I can’t wait to see what results you get.

I think rooting probably isn’t worth it. I have some mohair wigs to try out.
