It’s an online class on the REAL reborn forum
Are you talking about Genesis? The thinning medium supposedly does not dry with heat unless it is mixed with paint. You need to mix it so you do not exceed 2 parts thinning medium to 3 parts paint.
Fx is supposed to work well with GHSP varnishes and colors it better that’s why I went that way lol
I agree, join Sue Ellen’s Live Effects group. She developed her own special techniques, which she has freely shared, plus she is developing her own line of powders, made exclusively for reborning. No one tops her techniques. She’s a gem and a sweetheart.
Lara will be using the 88 color palate for the class. I think you will be good to order a few color pots if you want cause the ones in the palate you will be getting with the class are super small.
I watched all of Sue-Ellen’s tutorials that’s what made me want to try powders, does Lara have classes or tutorials anywhere else besides the other forum?
Thank you!!! So much for asking her!
Thanks for info! Guess I’ve been living in a Bountiful Baby bubble I have an account with them now and will be signing up for this class - and about 100 others!
I want to try coastal scents, but nearly all the colors that I’d like are out of stock on their site. Is there anywhere else that’s good to buy individual colors?
Can you tell me how thinning medium works as a sealer? I can’t figure out how it can do that. Thanks.
Thanks for the information.
So 2 questions, now that theyve been used for a while does anyone know how theyre holding up over time? And 2, especially with airdry how do they not come off since theyre dry when you either paint another layer or seal? Thx
The coastal scents powder posts are the same size as the Babyfx powders.
The powders hold up very well as long as they are worked in and sealed. I build up all my flesh, mottle and washes then at the end of painting is when I use powders to do shading/creases and some detailing then I seal everything
