Hi, I’m trying to assemble a grace and Mila. They came with strings to attach the cloth body. I replace with zip ties always. However her torso to cloth body attachment area is bigger and when I got zip ties long enough, they are a little thick and not wanting to tighten correctly to hold her torso on. So…what did you use? The string doesn’t seem like it will hold good enough. Even when tied super tight. Help I’m so frustrated 
When I did Cammi, I used string, tied it really tight and used multiple knots. It helps if you have someone who can push the shoulder piece down while you tie the strings. I also backed the holes with iron on interfacing to make them stronger. There’s a lot of tension on those holes.

Knots! I was scared to make it more permanent but I will try your suggestions! Thank you so much! I am sure these will work for me as well!
I’ve used two zip ties zipped together.
