I’m about to place my 3rd order this week with BB. 
Thought I ordered the black paint, but I didn’t. I ordered the black prisma pencil. I’m gonna order the mint green for washes. What other colors should I have on hand?

Grab a satin varnish too! I mix them, it works great❤️

MacPherson’s has the varnishes in the larger, 4 oz sizes. The little ones wouldn’t work for me as I varnish each doll twice. Once to seal the kit and once to seal the work at the end because I use powders. I like the effect of just satin varnish. I don’t add the matte but many people on here do.

You do not need black, it is not a colour that does anything positive for painting babies, or other humans. To get very dark colour for hair, I add some blue to the burnt umber. It gives natural shade even for AA babies’ hair.

Oh ok thanks, that’s exactly what I was getting it for.
I use black for a few things. One is for the lip color I use. I use red with a touch of black. Great lip color.
