That almost looks like a partially stripped arm. Maybe there’s a defect with oils in the kit. Do you use primer with Genesis? I would prime, then for varnish-soft touch. But if there’s that many problems you might have to go the old fashioned route with glass and tile. (I think that’s ok over heat set?)
Do you ever prime before doing panpastels or just before paint layers? Or do you only use the panpastels after paint? Thanks!
I prime my kits before I do anything. I paint several layers of paint usually before using powder pigments. Then I use a medium to seal the pigments, paint some more then final seal and varnish.
