I don’t know what section to post this in so I finally decided on here. I just had to show off the pacifier I made the other day with a bead chain and a pin. I’m planning to make more of these because I fell in love with the idea! I have tons of these pins left over from a girl scout function that took place 5 years ago…finally finding a use for them!

how pretty. You did a beautiful job.

I’ve only made the one so far but if I can find the same type beads, I’d be willing to sell them. They are really easy to make. You just need a hot glue gun, beads, beading string, buttons and a pacifier. 1. 1. Cut the back off the buttons (roses and leaves) and glue them on the pacifier and pin
2. string beads with a loop at one end to go around the pacifier handle
3. Glue other end of string to pin
4. Ta-da!!!

If you want a few pins, just pm me your address. They are sold in packs of 50 and I think I have over 100 left! I’ve got the beads strung for a couple more so I’ll take a photo of the end that goes over the pacifier handle. I made it in a loop so the pacifier can be switched if you want to. By the way, keep an eye out for sales at Hancock Fabrics. They have buttons on sale for 40 or 50% off frequently. Walmart has the packs of beads for $2 and this one only took about 1/2 the pack. The paci was from a consignment shop so I got a bucket of them for $12. All in all, probably only $3-4 dollars to make one. And it is fun!!!

Very cute! You did a wonderful job!
