Overwhelmed with kits

So…here’s me with 3 silicones to paint (waiting for a 4th to go on sale), 3 vinyl kits, and moving too many directions!

I am painting Scout, silicone Chloe, vinyl Chloe, and Fawna.

Somehow in all of my infinite wisdom I go and get 2 Emmy asleep, 2 Emmy awake, Lillian, and a Felicity awake.

I need to stop snooping around for KOD…

Scout has mostly been pushed to the side. I was working vinyl Chloe today. Silicone Chloe is still being stripped (long story). Fawna’s fur is taking FOREVER.

How do I pace myself here? Lord have mercy!!!

This is beyond the dark side. Lol!! I do have fun. I get bored easy. I think that’s why I’m jumping around. It has led to no complete babies though. I guess it really isn’t about that for me right now though.

I used to work on at least 3 at a time. Not painting lately but when I start back up again I will concentrate on one at a time, I think, lol!

Maybe having dif kinds at dif stages will keep your interest. You have choices now on what to do!
Does it bother you to not have a finished product yet?

I know you are not talking to me but I used to finish every kit that I started now I have about 5 sitting in a box unfinished, lol. It bothers me a little but not enough to take them out to finish them.

It only bothers me that Scout isn’t finished. I just want to see him finished! I can’t rush him because I know rushing equals disaster.

The thing is, silicone has large waiting periods in between layers and other stuff like sculpting a tongue. I thought I’d fill in those waiting periods with painting vinyl. Fawna has been in progress since I started painting vinyl.

The silicone Chloe I’ve been stripping while on breaks at work. It needs done but takes forever so it gets boring.

I think you are right and it is simply that they are all at different stages so when I feel like mottling, I do that. When I get bored of mottling, I go blend flesh layers. When that is boring I paint more fur on Fawna. You get the idea.

Sounds like you’ve got it all worked out.
And let’s not forget the little, that one is completed.

Some personalities are very bothered by unfinished projects. Some are ok with that! Some are so bothered by it that even other people’s unfinished projects bother them! Lol

I’ve got a big giant wreath project that moved with us from the apt to where we are now… and will very likely be coming with us for the next move this fall/winter still undone!

There’s an entire dresser drawer filled with bags of seperated foliage for it. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Figured I might as well post some progress.

On the whole Fawna thing, the stain remover stuff made a change but didn’t fix the issue.

Vinyl Chloe so far.
