I have prayed for you and your nephew often…and am so sad to hear the news of his passing.

Ladies, thank you so much for all your responses to this thread, it helps to know that we all still love coming to the forum to keep in touch with each other even if we aren’t painting at this time. @DollyPardon, HI back at ya! I’m so glad to see you back and you are correct, the sales are rather slow now or so it seems according to those that sell. I’m not sure if it will recover or if reborn dolls are just going by the wayside. I sure hope not, I Love viewing everyone’s babies, we have so many wonderful painters.
@Skylar, I’m so sorry for the losses in your life and I will pray for your daughter. Please keep us informed on her condition going forward, I know everyone will be praying for a good outcome going forward. Don’t forget to take care of yourself!!

Silicone dolls are very expensive to make, requiring special molds, special equipment, and special paints. High quality silicone runs about $250 per gallon last time I checked. Blank kits run $1200 and up. When you add in time spent $4000 is expensive but not unreasonable.

I’m here still. I come on read and most of the times I’ll get ready to post but my mind does the usual and wanders off onto another open tab and then I forget. I’m still reborning but don’t really post them here.
@TrinityCrystal I took this pic for you yesterday actually. I’m sending my little Logan back with Zay (my heart baby) as I continue repairs on her baby. I didn’t want to send her back without a baby. She promised to take good care of him and had currently switched him over to a girl.

I get on and read, but haven’t painted in a while. I sure hope this forum and all y’all stay around! I feel like y’all are family and friends, even though I haven’t met anyone in person. I LOVE seeing everyone’s babies and anything else y’all share!

Thank you for your prayers. It was hard watching him pass but death was his best friend. He was in so much pain. His hospice nurse said “in her 28 years of being a hospice nurse, she has never seen anything like it”. That’s how aggressive it was. He is at peace now, no more pain or tears!

Thank you, Lynn. We will take all prayers good thoughts and vibes we can get. I will keep everyone updated. My faith is keeping me positive. I will admit though it’s hard not to be depressed, and to take care of myself. But I know in time things will get easier. We just need to get to that point!

Thank you so much. There are many Ministers in my Family. My Mother was one. She Taught us that no matter what we face in life, as long as we keep our faith and lean and depend on God, and to trust him, everything will work out according to his plan. Yes, we may have to cry sometimes, but God knows best! So, I am pleading the blood of Jesus, and speaking life over my baby, no matter what happens. Thank you for your continued prayers!
