I like to knit, crochet, sew, make special desserts, and fix other people’s broken treasures. These are for my next two 10 inch babies. Coming soon. These tiny clothes are harder to make than the tiny babies. The booties are an inch long.
I like to decorate houses. Well, my houses…lol. I also collected Russian nesting dolls for 30 years. I haven’t done it since my divorce. I have hundreds packed away.
So gorgeous! I want you to adopt and teach me!!!
Wow!!! Love them! I have malteses!!! I guess I collect dogs… I have 4 furry Angels!
I did over 100…charged very little…just to cover shipping and supplies…would draw one every day…!!..still get people wanting me to draw their pets but I find , at least for me, need to be in this kindof art every day…now its reborns…!!
We have 5 shih tzu…our own little pack…great little babies, as we call them…
Hmmmm…Wall murals and commercial art (past endeavour as I am unable to do it now.) bit of sculpting, play piano, organ, classical guitar and harmonica …I do a bit of sewing and quilting but am a definite amateur in those. Starting bead work to make jewellery and I have just started felting…trying to learn to do felted dolls sort of like these (they are not my work of course…)
Such awesome talent, ladies!! I’m totally impressed!
We have a lot of talented people here…So amazing all the beautiful things you ladies make!!!

So much talent here! WOW!!!
At different stages of my life, I have enjoyed different things. For the past 13 years, of course, reborning has been front and center. Before that, I made tons of Himstedt outfits and sold them all. I love to sew but just don’t have time now. I also enjoy quilting, but the last quilt I made was for Sophia over 3 years ago. It was an embroidered quilt. I’ve made tons of soft sculpture dolls and before that I was into making dressed bunnies and bears. For a time, I loved paint by number…LOL…yep…everyone in my family has one of my trains now. My brother here in FL is an engineer, and we love trains. Believe it or not, being an oil painter, it was actually very difficult to “do” a paint by number ~ I found I kept adding my own strokes and touches each time I did one. Very interesting thing to learn about myself as I plodded along, trying to follow the numbers. LOL Here’s one before framing–
BUT – my first love will always be oil painting. My dad used to say that I was born with a paint brush in my hand. I would paint landscapes all day long if I had my way. Here’s one I did for my parents –
And a few of the Himstedt dresses/sets I made –
i love to knit, read, draw
i love cooking (most of the time…lol) and just watching movies and of course painting babies
the painting i have above is a paint by number but those you have such small areas to paint and must mix colors so they can be difficult to do. you must have a steady hand to do it.
Your pencil drawings are gorgeous…!!
thank you!!! feel free to stop by my facebook artist page Portraits by Melanie Curll. i have so many more drawings there.
