Hmm. The small world dolls remind me of some dolls I’ve seen at some of the antique/doll shows. Every single one with the same face and body, just with different hair colors and costumes.

One of the many great things about reborns is that even with the same sculpt, no two end up exactly alike. :slightly_smiling_face:

Not everyone is caucasian, nor should every doll be.

I’m with you too @lynn . How the world has changed these last …10ish years. Worse even these last 5 years. Now it’s considered “wrong” for my kids to dress up as an Indian on Halloween?! They LOVE Indians!! My great grandma was mostly Indian, Sioux, from Minnesota. We love that part of our history! Even if they had no Indian in them whatsoever, it would be fine if they wore Indian costumes and loved and embraced that part of history. It really gets to me sometimes, this horrible division that people are trying to cause. Their super sensitivity to every little thing! Let’s all just get along! MY RANT LOL! Anyway, here is a picture of a sweet little papoose that I made for my grandma. She adores him! And I don’t regret a minute of it.

Your little ‘papoose’ is ADORABLE!!!

Yes…I agree…with all you said…it’s a sad condition our world is in. Dividing us more every day instead of bringing us togeter as the cultural melting pot we are…why do they call it a melting pot? Maybe because we are all supposed to embrace and meld as one in society?

Oh. I thought it was a TV show. Shows how much I know about TV. I guess the ones I was speaking of may not even be on TV. I saw them on YouTube.

I agree with Cherie and Lynn…way too much sensitivity and political correctness. Renaming schools and taking down monuments is a detriment to our history.

I agree to a certain point. There is a time and place for everything. The statues that are very offensive should be placed where they can benefit history. We rename schools streets etc all the time. These things aren’t just about sensitivity or political. There is more meaning to it, you just have to be open to hear, feel and understand. This is just a discussion I am not upset or pointing fingers. I actually love our different opinions. We are human that is just the way it is.
