I have such a hard time with eyelashes on open eyes. Very frustrating!
Me too I don’t know the key or the secret. I rip all my lashes out trying to glue!!!
I root them.
Me too and sometimes all the hair gets ripped when glueing!!!
Do you have any good pointers or tutorials you use for rooting?
Girl! Ugh
I got the bright idea to spread glue with my toothpick… and twist as I went. Soooo stupid!
DO NOT do that. The hairs wrapped around the toothpick and pulled them through to the inside and I had to re-root it!
I put the eyelashes on first , let it dry, and then put the eyes in from the back. It works for me and no glue on the eyeballs. I don’t root open eyed babies because I can’t get them even enough.
we live and we learn. I still don’t have a good solution for it. I pray real hard when doing it and I’m not big on open eyes. I was soooo nervous about that dang Jaylan. That is why tink has no lashes, I was like not today. I noticed some people not putting lashes
I do to but still have so much trouble with them. Today has not been a fruitful day for me in the reborning world. Think I need to walk away fir a day or to lol
Oh and eyebrows are even worse for me!
Same here and root after eyes are in or after🤪
LOL, I almost put holes around the eyes on one baby from reroooting too much, lol
Yep totally understand
I stopped rooting eyelashes because they just looked terrible. I know the glue in ones can fall out easily but they look so much nicer. I might go back to rooting but I need to find the right hair for it.
I used modpodge and my finger for gluing them in when I was rooting. Then after I put the eyes in, put the eye glue on and the pledge I felt confident that they were glued in properly
I used the strip lashes and trimmed them. Honest opinion please–do they look too dolly? Should I be rooting them?
Looks good to me.
She is beautiful and the lashes look great!
No they look fantastic!
I can never get the rooted eyelashes to curl up. I use the strips, glue carefully with a toothpick, and trim them before gluing. It also helps to add the drops of wax for shine afterwards. I think that helps secure them in place.
No they look really good and natural.
