It does make a difference; the underneath of the parts does not heat quite as much as the tops. Have a good look at photos of parts that melted; they melt on the top.
Thank you @ludmila. With so many bakes in the process how do you keep up with which side is up? Do you keep notes? I guess for me notes will be the only reliable source as I’ll not remember…
