Hello Ladies.
I don’t want to come off as sounding militant about the situation, but I do need to express something important. We’re all adults here so hopeful you all will understand where I’m coming from and not be too upset by it.
When we started the swap, the rules and check-in dates were clearly posted for everyone to read & remember, write down, bookmark, screenshot or whatever method worked for you to remember the important dates. Most people have been great about getting their photos in on time (and some way ahead of time) and showing real progress in the photos, while others have missed virtually every check-in only to resurface a few days later explaining their crisis and asking to remain in the swap, and their photos show little to know progress from previous check-in. Please don’t get me wrong, just like you, I have a family and a life outside of reborning and enjoy spending time doing other things, but if we commit to doing something, especially something that affects other people, then I feel we should all be adult enough to follow through or at the very least have the common courtesy to inform the host that you will be unable to continue or meet a deadline. I won’t lie or mince words when I say that it’s really hard for me to remain sympathetic to someone’s plight when said plight doesn’t prevent them from being active all over the forum creating and replying to posts day after day, yet it prevents you from following through and submitting WIP photos on time. Not Cool! And if you’re wondering…Yes, I Do Check. We can all see when one another was active on the forum and all the posts you’ve created and replied to; dates and times.
We’ve only got one more check-in and 13 days until our babies need to be completed and ready for shipping. So I’m going to ask you ladies to all please look to your immediate future in terms of your upcoming plans, scheduling, etc and if you’re not going to be able to meet the next check-in (JANUARY 16 by Midnight PST) Pleeeease let me know so that I can remove your name from the list. Resigning from the swap at this point will not necessarily prevent you from participating in any future games I host, but becoming a ghost and dropping out without word or warning definitely will. The rules and checkpoints are there to help us keep on track with completing our babies, and allow for plenty of time to progress through a couple of steps between check-ins. It’s not fair to the rest of the folks who have been working hard at making nice babies, while others are waiting until the eleventh hour to slap a coat of paint on and throw baby in a box.
Please understand, because we are so close to the end, I will unfortunately be unable to extend any further courtesies for missed check-in/WIP dates, and will have to remove your name from the swap.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask me/open a discussion and I will address them. Thank you all for your understanding.

@DancesWithDolls, I hate that I had to drop out, but I have had many days that I was at home and unable to paint as well as running back and forth to the hospital and keeping my nieces while their parents worked or cared for my inlaws. Aging sux! I was actually able to finish painting the baby I was working on but don’t know that I could have her rooted. 
Anyway, I hope I am not black-listed.

The exact opposite. Something came up that prevented you from continuing, and you were courteous and thoughtful enough to let me know right away. That’s the idea I was trying to convey in the post, to let others know that it’s ok if something comes up and you can’t continue, but to let me know…not just drop off the face of the earth and leave it to guess. You’re perfectly fine so please don’t worry. How are things going?

There’s actually another “Completed” check in on 1/23. That needs to be a photo of your baby all put together; no heads propped on bodies or photoshoots of parts wrapped in blankets…competed babies; dressed and with whatever they’re going home with.
The matching will start early on the morning of the 24th, so If I I don’t receive “completed” photos on the 23rd I will assume the person has withdrawn and their name WILL NOT be added to the matching…sorry.
And remember…ALL BABIES NEED TO BE SHIPPED BY JAN 31st and tracking info pm to me.
