I attended a gathering of the Penobscot, Micmac and Passamaquoddy tribes in Maine one year on vacation, and was told by a tribal medicine man that my totem animal was the Otter. So put together with reborning babies, I chose Otterbaby2 since when I joined, I had just done my second doll. It is something that was easy for me to remember. Diane

My name is Sam and my username is the same as my nursery name. I originally used Sam’s Silent Sleepers before shortening it to just Silent Sleepers. I chose my nursery name because my reborns are silent and my first few babies were sleepers.

I’m Helen Jane Marshall and Hono Jane is my family nickname. (pronounced Huh-Noo). I used it for my nursery name and I use it on the forum too. My sisters named me Helen, (darn them to heck!) and they also nicknamed me Hono. They still never call me anything else!

Grammy’s Reborn Friends was created because of my Granddaughter, she lived with us at the time and every baby she had she wanted me to make then a soft baby that felt real and she could cuddle with, then one day she saw the monkeys and said Grammy are you going to make me one of them? So I did and then made a special friend for all of the Grandchildren that year. It was such a hit that the word spread and soon I was making babies, monkeys, bears, dinosaurs, puppies and just about anything I could create so we called it GRAMMY’S REBORN FRIENDS because it fit so well.

When I started painting dolls. My mom and sister painted one too. So we couldn’t be my name in case they kept painting with me. I wanted Tami’s Tiny Tots. But decided on Ridgetop because we all live on the same ridgetop. But now I am the only one painting. My 3 daughters each painted one also, but that’s all they wanted to do. Oh well, that’s why I joined the forum. I needed help and advise and someone who liked painting dolls. Thank you all. :-). Tami

My name is Mandy but my forum name… And my online name everywhere is Colee1970. Back when me and my ex husband got our first desktop in 2001 I needed a nickname for an online account. I could not think of anything at the time but then my old cat (named Colee) jumped in my lap and I said THATS IT! So I used Colee and added 1970 (my birth year) and that has been my computer name any and every where since 2001.

Blissful Babies is my nursery name. Actually it’s My Blissful Babies. When I started reborning I had no intention of getting so carried away that I’d have a “nursery name”. Any way…so much for that. I decided on that name because one if my sleeping babies looked so blissful…awwwwww.

My name is Debra, but my nursery name is 4Everbabies. I started reborning when my son went into the Marines in 2008. I really had a hard time with him being gone, so I got into reborns and that way the babies I make never grow up and go away.

My last name is Lay and my name on here is 2layz. Sort of fits the way I feel sometimes! Most people call me Annie though, and my nursery name on FB and Ebay is Nest468. I probably should have used my nursery name on here, but must have just been “too lazy” to change to it! LOL

My real name is Lisa, but I use the forum name Semantics for a couple of connected reasons. Semantics was my pen name when I wrote fan fiction and poetry. So when people wrote to me to give feedback it was addressed to Semantics. It was also the name of me email address for mail.com for years until mail.com started getting ‘buggy’ and crashed frequently. I chose Semantics because I’m kind of ( big time) a psychology and literature nerd. I see meaning in everything and I loved how it denoted meaning and relationships in language. So, after years Semantics just stuck for me
