Does anyone have an extra ticket to @Jacky’s rooting class? Did any of you book and are unable to attend, or have second thoughts? My Mom recently took up rooting after my Dad died, and it has been incredibly therapeutic for her. I would absolutely love and be so grateful if I was able to give her the opportunity to take this class! I had responded to @Jacky’s post when she had the two openings, but needed to make sure my Mom could take time off of work, and spend money traveling from the East Coast. She’s booked the hotel, and can book her flight. All she needs is a ticket to the class. She is SO excited about this opportunity, and I don’t want to see her let down, as life has been super challenging and difficult for her lately. She had to have major surgery when Dad was in hospice, and it seems like it’s been one thing after another. If you have a ticket, please contact me ASAP, and let’s figure out what we can do to transfer it into her name. We can paypal you, but need to make sure she get’s registered. It’s so natural, and beautifully detailed. She’s absolutely one of the best! I’ve been admiring her work, and following her since I first saw it…just gorgeous, precise perfection. My Mom got really interested in rooting after seeing @Jacky’s work. She never knew how much it could look like real baby hair!

I got gypped… all 5 of my real babies were mostly bald til they were 2! LOL

I am just doing the baby shower/gifts exchange, meeting some of the forum ladies and walking the show floor then heading home.
So my oldest and I will get there Thurs. and leave Friday. it is a 5 hr drive. Each way.
Marissa, maybe you could contact Jacky and see if she could fit in one more student. Maybe if you explain your mom’s situation she could manage to slip her in without taking time from other students. I think she limits class size to 10 or so? You can try it!! Sounds like your mom could use this therapy both physically and emotionally!!

Thanks so much, @lynn! Yes, I think it would mean the world to her right now. I did contact @Jacky, and it would be so amazing if she could find a way to fit her in! My mom could bring her own materials in case that’s a consideration. I know many artists mail their things ahead of time, and wouldn’t want her to have to ship out anything extra for us. Here’s hoping!! 
I’m guessing Jacky is probably sleeping right now, since Germany is in a totally different time zone. I’m hoping to wake up to some good news tomorrow morning!
