I lay puppy training pads on my work table when Iā€™m painting. Theyā€™re great for soaking up accidental spills or for drying off my brush after rinsing it (I use air dry). I also find disposable eyeliner brushes extremely useful, especially for eyebrows and very fine hair details xx

My experience with the throw away sponge and E6000 glue was not a good one, I tried to spread the glue in the head but the hair started pulling out on the sponge so I took the sponge off and just used the stick. So I have missing hair is some places SMH. @pia I have toothpicks.

Do not buy these off of amazon. I thought this would be a great deal but NOT.
They are very porous and basically worthless.

However I did buy some at Big Lots and they are decent but a little on the small side. I think they were a $1

Thatā€™s what I got as well. Mottling turned out horribly bad, now I use them to clean off my palette

I found some elf brushes and bought a couple :wink: thanks for the tip! I bought a concealer brush to it appears to be good for blending or even dragging out veins

I bought a couple elf brushes but, I wasnā€™t that impressed. Maybe Sonja can tell you which ones she likesā€¦
You can get some nice brushes at Michaelā€™s for about the same price especially if you go online and load a coupon to your account. They usually have at least one every week for 40-60% off. I also love these cheap brush sets from China and nail brush sets are great too!!

Michaelā€™s will let you use one of each type of coupon in each transaction - printed, newspaper, phone and receipt from previous week coupons. Not sure if you could also print out the email one. Use for thinners, brush cleaners and jars, paint trays, prisma colored pencils,ā€¦ Then there are baskets for beds, American girl shoes for smaller babies, beads for necklaces and paci holders, yarnā€¦I want it all!!!

Must have - gloves for painting and for glue in head, I use a glove and fingers! Not latex. White plates or bowls from thrift stores for paint mixing. Needles and rice for rootingā€¦ But my big must have was a cabinet to put it all in!
