YAY!!! I made this video of Liam and put it on YouTube. I’m so excited to have it on there!:laughing: The music is one of my sons. He writes, sings and plays guitar. Hubby is holding the camera. Let me know what you think of my video. I was nervous even though there’s no speaking LOL

Beautifully done… Both the video and the REBORN…especially his hair…Your son has a soothing voice and the lyrics really spoke to me as a prospective new adoptive Mommy…Hubby did well on the camera and you look as though you have been doing this sort of thing for ages…!!..totally natural and beautiful…the patting of his bottom at the end was a perfect ending…

Thanks so much. He was my third baby to root…I’m not up to customs yet…LOL I did take “pains” with him and try to do it as perfect as I could. He is the first baby I’ve ever put up for sale, so I’m so nervous!

I’m not using ebay. I’ve heard such horror stories about it. I put him on my Facebook, Pinterest, and the Youtube video. If he doesn’t sell, I’ll maybe do Reborns.com or Reborn Marketplace. I don’t need income, as I’m a full time RN, so if he doesn’t sell I’ll just have another baby to love in my cradle :slight_smile: I decided that I refuse to sell it cheaper than I think all that time was worth!!! His hair took me around thirty hours to complete.

Your Liam is very nice! I am painting him as a girl right now, but stuck. Not sure what colors I want to add. AND eyebrows are the hardest part for me. grrr

Have you watched Kim on Custom Doll Baby? I like the idea of her technique, but I like the brows just “barely there”. I am not very good at them, so I make them extremely light…LOL

I really enjoyed the video, and I’m assuming you will have photos too on the sites where you sell. If not, and the video is the only way you are showing your work on any of them, you might consider starting the video with him in only a diaper and onesie so people can see closeups of all the limbs before they are covered with his clothing. You did a super job of keeping him in focus, not moving too fast, comparing his skin tones to yours, and showing that beautiful hair! Good luck with finding him a new mommy!

Thanks for the suggestions! I will take them to heart, and hopefully improve when I do Clyde’s video. It is so stressful for me…LOL
