Good job on your first. Maybe try stuffing a onesie to get the better sized look?

I think she looks really good in general, but even more so being your first baby. Hope mine turns out as good

Thanks for the advise,I do not have my prisma penciles in yet that is why she has no eye brows and I’m waiting on her gloss to dry before I root the lashes :slightly_smiling_face:

I was very excited to have her painting complete but now I’m looking for ways to make my second one better. I have 15 kits waiting two of which are twin a and twin b my keepers but they will not be done until I fill like I am good enough to do them.

That is a really good first baby! Mine was mostly shiny and looked startlingly close to her original vinyl color… I don’t have her anymore but I so wish I did. Make sure you keep this little one!

I know you wanted an honest critique, so I think for the next baby you should try some yellow undertones (not too much, though), a bit more detailing on the feet (maybe it’s just the picture but they don’t seem to have as much color as the rest of her), and tone down some of the red on her knees (it doesn’t look bad per se, but it seems a little harsh in comparison to the rest of her skin tone). I also agree that veining would be good/some blue.

Overall I don’t think she’s bad for a first at all! I still haven’t finished my first because I’ve had to start over so many times  I’m working on it again, though, and trying to keep in mind some of the critiques I’ve had in the past. One thing people have brought up is too much redness, so that’s why I mentioned her knees seem a bit harsh (but maybe it’s just me).

Keep at it…I think it’s great you’ve gotten your first baby just about finished. Mine has been a work in progress for several months so I think you’re doing better than me :stuck_out_tongue:

I think she’s wonderful but you asked for critique on another post so…

Next time you could add a bit of variation to her skin tone. Make her creases more defined, add different colors and shades of mottling, different undertones, that sort of thing. It’ll make the ‘skin’ pop a little more.
