My craigslist find

There was a “reborn” on craigslist for $60 so i jumped on it! Got there and Lord have mercy this baby is a mess!! So i was like ok i came this far im just going to take it and fix it up this lady told me flat out she used washable markers for paint and cat litter to weight it so i will spend the evening scrubing marker off this doll…here are a few pictures any idea on kit name?

Great deal! Baby needs TLC but the kit alone is worth $100+! Her name is Sailor Rose. Are you going to fix her up?

You can use acetone or Windsor and Newton brush cleaner to take the paint off. Maybe a magic eraser too?

That’s a great find, I hope you can get all the “stuff” off of her/him!! Post us some progress pictures as you go along!!

Poor sick bubby. He is lucky you found him to fix him up.

I am flabbergasted that someone would take a $100 kit and “paint” it with children’s markers. I mean, what goes on in a person’s head to do that kind of thing? If it were some cheapo kit, okay . . . but a $100 plus kit and you don’t even try to “do it right”? Unbelievable! Great for you, though. I hope she didn’t ruin it, though. I’m sure it will be a wonderful learning experience.
