How much mohair should I buy for Tobiah’s head? I hardly ever root and have never seen Tobiah in person so I have no clue lol. 
I would take into consideration how your going to root it. Boy or girl? Long or short? Thick or sparse?
Long hair you’ll use complete bundles of hair. Short you can cut bundles into thirds or quarters etc

I’m thinking girl at maybe this length or shorter…
I don’t want it too thick but I tend to root heavy. I ordered 1/2 ounce of yearling from Mac’s. Will that be enough, do you think?
It should be, I’ve rooted 3-4 newborns with a 1/2oz of mohair. So unless you root super thick/long or end up with lots of wasted hair, that should be enough.
