She’s cute and popular! I prefer Harper though. I decided to buy Harper but the kit was hard to find. I finally found her overseas and paid well over $500.00 plus shipping for it. Maizie is another hard to find (htf) kit as well.

Yeah she’s been sold out for quite a while. That’s why when someone does have one for sale it costs so much.

They were limited edition kits. When they are gone they are gone.
Replying to your question why do people sell them as kits, why they do not make them up:
Because if they can get $500 for the kit they may not be able to get all that much more for it if they do it up. At the time when I paid just about that for my Livia kit, there was somebody selling finished Livia doll and nobody was bidding; she kept putting the starting price down, and I lost track of her at about $180. It was not a well made doll
Because that would seriously upset all those people who bought them as limited edition. But many sculptors now limit their editions to how many pre-orders they get plus small number extra; that stops the frenzy at the start of the pre-order , and then immediately reselling the kits at high profit.

It’s always slow in the summer. People are spending money on their kids and on vacations, back-to-school clothes, etc. They are also more busy with outdoor activities and are spending less time shopping online. It picks up again after school starts up and people start thinking about Christmas presents. This is the time to make lots of babies and get ready to sell them during the holidays when people are looking for amazing presents like reborns!
