What an amazing story- I hope that she makes it home OK and undamaged.
I asked the seller for a refund, I can’t imagine the baby would be in the same condition as when she first shipped her. Hopefully she can get the baby back or had insurance on it, but honestly she shipped it ground which doesn’t include insurance and it doesn’t look like she added insurance on it.
I was curious why a prototype artist would ship ground with NO INSURANCE, but then seen that this was a used doll, and not the original artist, and the seller probably not experienced in shipping I guess. Still, $600. doll needs insurance when shipping.
It isnt sent by Shaylen. It is a resale
Yes that’s what I realized when reading that it was used
I totally get that and would do the the same. Maybe the seller can at least get the baby back- which she is very lucky if that happens given no box or anything.
Sorry, but that is so dumb on her part! $600 doll without insurance!
How would you see if she had insurance?
If you go to track the package on usps website you can go to product information and it tells you what services they paid for, she paid for tracking…but it doesn’t say she paid anything for insurance. So in my experience that means she didn’t add insurance unfortunately.
Maybe we should start pinning the name and address on the baby like we did for our kids years ago so if they got lost they were found easily. Ialways put the buyers name and address in the box on top and my business card. This is a shame someone is looking for her somewhere.
That’s actually a really good idea.
I am getting so frustrated with this whole situation. It’s been 17 days since I filed a claim on ebay, the seller has already opened a package research request with the post office, which the post office already closed because they couldn’t locate the baby, and the seller refuses to refund me! Ebay keeps delaying their decision to give it longer to get here, which it won’t because it’s lost. grrr so frustrating to have your money held hostage. I mean obviously it’s not my fault she didn’t properly package the baby nor get insurance on it. Okay sorry rant done! lol
I’m so sorry that you’re still dealing with this. The seller should definitely refund you. It’s not your fault that the box was damaged/lost, nor is it your fault that she sent it uninsured. Hopefully this is a learning experience for the seller, but this in not your lesson to learn and you should have your money back.
Holy smokes, this is still going on?! I can’t believe she has not refunded you. The post office can’t locate it? There is literally a photo of the doll thrown in a bin and a Facebook ‘paper trail’ as to where it is located. Unbelievable!
She should have refunded you, that’s just wrong.
Oh no!!! Is there anyone you can call to get this handled? I can’t believe you are still waiting!!!
You would think with the photo and exact location of the doll it could be easily retrieved, but they said they couldn’t find it.
I’ve tried calling Ebay, they said to give it more time to see if it shows up.
Wow!!! That’s terrible!!!
