Long Wait for Smilla by Sabine Altenkirch?!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Liz and I’m new to the forum. I often come here for tips and advice. So, I thought it was about time to start posting :slight_smile:

I pre-ordered little Smilla around Halloween and it seems like this kit has been such a long wait! It appears that many dealers have had her in stock since the beginning of March, but are unable to ship until they get the go-ahead from Sabine.

That got me wondering…what was the longest you’ve ever waited for a kit to be released? I’ve only been reborning for about 2 years now, and Smilla was my first official pre-order. Is this the norm?
Also, does anyone have any new updates regarding this kit?

It seems there’s been a longer than usual wait time on several pre-orders lately! Gaige’s preorder opened in November, was expected in January, and I’m still waiting. I know the kit manufacturer had a family emergency which has slowed down the process so, this may be the case with Smila too :thinking:

Well, I’ve been waiting for Liam to be released for pre order. He was scheduled to be available in December 2016, but now it says late 2017. Arrgh!! It definitely teaches you patience though!

I want Smilla so bad :frowning: I was wondering about her edition the other day because I have not seen any reborns of her. What a long wait!!
