Aww…they are so cute! I just saw them on Irresistables when I was looking at kits. I can’t wait to see your work on these 2!

I also appreciate that you liked my match for Loki…it was one of those times of just scrolling through kits and that one immediately caught my attention and even though I continued to browse kits, I kept coming back to that one, so I knew it was the one.

Aww…thank you very much! I’m really glad you agree with the likeness too! I have been on the lookout since last Summer for as close of a match as I could get. I jumped at the chance at a Shyann cause she’s just so adorable, but looking back there were absolutely no similarities…at least I can see Loki in this new kit. I can’t wait to share his progress.

Its Soledad by Ping, off the subject this is me second ping doll I have ordered from McPherson’s, both did not come with COA, is that common? She has been really easy to paint compared to my first two!

@AGivensBaby I kind of feel your pain. I’m not rooting sparse but I decided to root blond curly yearling mohair. That was quite stupid of me. This is the 2nd doll I’m rooting. I REALLY should have stuck to alpaca brownish stuff. I can’t hardly see this stuff. It gets tangled every time I pull the hair bunch away from the head. Ooof…

Ikr? I should have definitely went with a darker color, especially since I do not have a magnifying light (which I WILL be getting if I decide to root more heads!)

I have headlamps from camping so I use one of those and a pair of those reading glasses from the drug store. The headlamp is rechargeable and it moves with my head. It always has light where I need it.

I finally convinced my partner to let me teach her how to root so that we can get some kind of production line going one day and this is her first attempt! Either I’m an awesome teacher or she’s just a natural because it’s looking really good!
