Let’s show our WIP, part 3

@Leabelle Awesome! Thank you very much! I can definitely see why no one liked them…I felt like I was painting mannequin hands…little to no detail and too smooth and that harsh wrist line @jeanhai pointed out…yikes…something like this belongs on a crazy hybrid.

As for the hair, I’m glad you said her head is small and doesn’t take much, cause I wanted to try and give my piglet a little tuft on the top of his head with some of that hair…plus I’ve heard I can stretch the hair out by cutting it the length I want to root, before rooting it so it “doubles” my hair if I want it shorter.

My last question…is it true that I should condition it, let it dry, then straighten it before rooting…I don’t want to ruin the hair. Thank you!

You don’t necessarily have to condition it and everything but since it’s a dark color I would highly recommend washing it really well because it will probably leak dye and you don’t want it staining the doll head. If it does leak dye, just rinse it until the water is clear and then it should be safe to use.

Yes you need to rince it before use like @MilosMeadows said. If it seem dry you can add conditioner. Straight the hair before rooting. Cutting in half will double the quantity, be careful to not mix the cut ends !

I think Shyann is notorious for having disappointing limbs at this point. Many people witch them out for Realborn limbs instead.

Love the color of the hair. I prefer rooting very fine adult and I only tried alpaca once and gave it away. Pygora is nice, but a rare find!

I believe you ! Fine white alpaca ! Good luck ! She will be beautiful !

They are beautiful

Alexis is coming along

Does anyone else’s Alexis have this weird spot in centre of the right hand? Difficult to get pic of, but it’s like a blob of vinyl
