I started on Levi. I primed him first. I think he looks a lil too peachy orange. What do you think? He looks a lil darker in person to me!

I can never get an actual true color picture. They were taking with my iPhone X. I’m gonna try with my note 10 phone tomorrow. Thank you

If you have a tablet try taking a pic with that.

I do. I’m actually waiting for my new iPad to come this week. I heard the cameras on the new iPad are spectacular. This one is about 3 years old.

I have the same iPad Pro from 2015. I am going to keep it till it no longer works, but I need a new phone I had the iPhone X and hated it so I went back to the 7 plus, from 2016. :face_with_hand_over_mouth: I have to get a new phone this year.

Try wiping the lens of the camera off with a gentle cloth before taking photos as they can get films of oil and stuff over the top from daily use.

Another thing is to make sure to turn off True Tone on your iphone, then go to the accessibility page and click on display and text size, scroll down and click color filters, turn it on, and click the blue/yellow filter, I have mine set to about 1/3rd, I’ve found this gives the iPhone screen a more true to life coloring and white balances it some. Also make sure to look at any photos on a white balanced monitor aside from doing that to your phones display. You can check white balance on any screen by getting a sheet of white paper and in good lighting adjusting the screen (set to a white image) to match, this can atleast help (theres fancier ways you can white balance but this is the fastest for minimal effort). Also make sure night yellow light mode is off on your iPhone when looking at photos. That’s about all I can suggest, when it comes to the iPhone itself lol. But it’ll give you a better idea of if the photos seem true to life or not.

I am an electronic gal. I’m always upgrading my phones and tablets. I also have the iPad Pro and a regular iPad. I have the Samsung note 9 and 10. I keep saying I’m switching back to android. The android phones, my car can read the text. The iPhone doesn’t allow that. I really only like the iPhone for FaceTime. 1 of my sons have an Android, everybody else has iPhones. I just got an email stating my new iPad will be delivered today.

Thank you very much for this information. I just purchased indoor lighting umbrellas and sadly I still l l don’t see much improvement with my photos. I too use my iPhone for photos, just can’t see a way to purchase a camera at this time, but hopefully this adjustment with my phone will help.

Absolutely! You can also look up online some more information on how to get good photos with an iPhone! Parts of it are composition and there’s a lot of YouTube videos that can help! I snapped this photo with my iPhone 11 (which I upgraded to almost solely for the option to take good cell photos) the other day! Excuse the dust lol, but you can see all the little skin bumps which made me pleased!

Btw I would just start looking on FB marketplace for Camera’s everyday in your area, you might be able to find a good deal! Also, I have a Canon Eos Rebel T5 camera from the early 2010’s, it can be a good starter camera for someone who isn’t never super duper into photography and would meet most people’s needs for photos of reborns. There’s some on eBay that are on auction for under $200, so I’d take a look at that as well. If you’re interested in buying a camera but hoping for one cheap!
