I took a very long hiatus. 5 years! Prior to that I had been painting babies over 10 years. Life was busy, and I had found some new ventures for my art. I’ve missed making babies! I’ve painted 3 practice babies and definitely don’t have my groove back, just yet. I don’t know if I will know anyone here since it’s been so long. I paint under Shabby Little Babies. My dolls are stylized… vintage… definitely not ultra realism.

I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone again!

Hi Jenni! We are doing very well, thank you. Things are always busy here… I’ve made a full circle and right back to painting babies. I’m super excited about it. I feel like I have so much to catch up on. So many new artist. Not to mention selling… things seem so different!

I remember you. Welcome back! I had to take a couple of breaks from painting due to health problems, but eventually got in the groove again. No doubt you will too. :blush:

I’m so glad you were able to jump back in! I hope after my next baby, I’ll feel “there” again! I was surprised at how much I missed it, now that I’m painting again.
