Not everyone who dislikes trump is a hater.
Blind following of any group is wrong. We should always ALWAYS question our president and hold them to account. Be they dem or republican.
His being a dem is irrelevant to why i posted the video. I sinply wanted to explain tarrfs. His video does a very good job of doing that in simple terms that are easy to understand.
We need to stop treating politics like a fan club. Its too important for that.

All I know is that I’m not working a full shift, as my grocery store will be closed. I may be the lucky one selected to go down and check to make sure all of the alarms are working, as well as all of the refrigeration/freezer units though. I kind of hope not. Only because I don’t want to walk to work and nearly straight back home again. 
I’m not decorating for a couple of reasons. My decorations are all still in the basement of my old roommates house (no car to get them) And my current roommate has a dog that’s an absolute menace.
Seriously, this girl managed to obliterate a plush bear on the 2 minute ride back from the store yesterday. The day before, she destroyed my roommates brand new in the box work shoes in about a minute and a half.
I inherited most of my grandmother’s holiday decorations and I don’t fancy their chances against Honey Bunny. She’s sweet, but she sure is destructive.

I stopped by the hardware store on the way home from work today. I picked up an LED multi color string of bulbs and an LED infinity tree. It’s very neat. A double sided mirror with lights in the frame that’s only about an inch thick. It would be perfect in a windowsill once I’m in a larger space. For now, it’s in my room. I’ve hung a single flat ornament from the star.

How do you think Tarriffs on China imports are going to change anything? China is not the only ones at fault, we are we demand it products, we pay to have it manufactured there. We have set it up so we don’t see it, even then we do we don’t care. Will you stop buying stuff at the dollar store once you find out that 10 year olds are working a 15 hour day manufacturing plastic toilet bowl brushes for pennies?

Americans won’t work in those factories because it is unethical, it is slave labor. We attempt to protect our workers. We have protections in place, not all people honor them.
Those regulations are to keep workers safe and consumers safe, period.
We have always had Tarriffs on imported goods, there are complicated reasons for it. What Trump wants is to make you think he is doing something to punish China, something that will benefit you in some way, it won’t. It was a shiny object that made no sense.
I am glad you looked up raw and rare earth materials. Russia is number one for raw materials but guess who uses 1/3 of the worlds raw materials and is only 5% of the worlds population? yup, good ol USA. China produces/mines 240 metric tons, we mine about 43. China and India also have ALL the API these are the ingredients used to make every medication you have or will even take in your life time.
No we could not be self reliant, not possible, not even a little.
We are dependent on China and India for our meds period. We manufacture meds here but the API has to be purchased from China and India. You can’t make any medication without it.
If you think globally, we may be a “super power” but it isn’t because we are superior. We have weapons, we have money (debt that we owe), we have tech, we have a system in place that knows how to strategize, knows how to trade, create allies, align ourselves with the right people at the right time. We built this country on slave labor, without it we wouldn’t be where we are. We have just learned to outsource that labor to anyone who was willing to do it for less, traditionally developing nations, it isn’t kind.

I double checked you are right it was St. Jude, my mistake, but not just St. Jude and he was fined 2 million dollars , his foundation was dissolved and 1.7 million they had in their accounts was distributed to the charities is was suppose to go to in the first place. There were also other restriction put in place for him and his family regarding their “foundation” plans for the future. They were helping raise money with their foundation and spending it on things that had nothing to do with the charities, one being a very large portrait of Trump, that I guess no one bid on but him and he used the foundations money to pay for it. It hangs prominently in one of his homes I think.
Assuming Biden has dementia now at his advanced age, he has not always had it, and you might want to remember Regan had Alzheimers at the end of his presidential career. This doesn’t make excuse for Trumps behavior or lack of qualification to hold office.
If you want to continue this debate, I suggest we do it in a PM, not sure anyone else wants to be a part of it, and it stresses people out.

The truth shouldn’t stress anyone. People need to take a deep dive into what Trump has done,what he will do. There are many legitimate honest sights even many of the news stations are beginning to tell the truth.

They have spy balloons, transferring info in real time, traveling from coast to coast while Biden naps on the beach.
They are hovering over Taiwan…biding their time …flexing a little miitary muscle here and there to keep us on our toes…but when they decide to take it …what will we do???

Trump is not perfect by any means…but was a better choice according to the people.
Biden has had a career of over 50 years of continous lies…and actions… that do not look well as part of his legacy…that continue to this very day.
I don’t have the time or inclination to list them all…but he is not a good guy…politically or ethically.
He is what you might call a flip flopper on nearly every single hot button political issue.

I do. I am not a follower, I respect her, I like the way she ran her campaign, she would have been the better option. She lost the election true. 74 million people did vote for her. She conceded with dignity and respect. She did not cry foul play, didn’t demand recounts, she did not ask people to storm the capital, she simply said, “thank you, my heart is full of gratitude, thank you for trusting me…” and went on her way. I respect that. That is how you play the game, that is how a healthy grown up behaves.

Swallwell is a good friend of mine, I campaign for him. He is a stellar human being, a great dad, he is beyond intelligent, and he really, really cares about people and the work he does. The China spy stuff is absolute BS. I was there. I can PM you the truth if you want it.
I wasn’t blaming you for the turn, I was taking responsibility for my part in it.
We are in the middle of a food Ghetto in the East Bay… we are drowning in good Chinese, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Thai, Mexican… there is nothing you can’t get here.
