Stumbled upon this on Ebay. Price seems quite low and the seller says it’s no brand in the description, seems a bit suspicious to me but I’m new to these things.
Things like ‘no brand’ are a red flag to me. Kits are produced with a kit name and an artist name.

I think you should be suspicious. It’s likely a fake.
You can get legit test heads for $10. Twice the price, but from a reputable company.

Yeah, I figured. Just wanted to know some red flags to look out for next time I make a purchase!
So far I’ve listed: kits that look weirdly familiar coming from China, extremely low price, suspiciously vague descriptions, no branding on the back of the head. Trying to find some more if there are any left

Yes, some should have branding on the back of head, or even on the flanges of heads and limbs. That one has some numbers there… I wouldn’t trust it to be the real thing.

It is so hard to tell especially with older kits. I have to say I wish they didn’t brand the backs of their necks with the artist name but I understand the reasoning behind it. There are some legit kits that don’t have any identification other than a number on the flanges even the older BB kits.
When the head arrives you could google the number and see what comes up. The head does remind me of an older BB sculpt 
I’m painting Morgan and Riley right now and one of them only has numbers no name and annoys me cause I have to remember the numbers to match the kit parts. My brain does not like working in numbers lol
