Hey Ladies - quick question- I have silicone Steven and another full body silicone - (Amelia by Helen Conners) . Amelia has a wire armature in her arms and I love how posable she is. I just bought Steven and was wondering if it’s possible to add an armature to him by threading the wire thru the top?

I have never painted silicone but watching videos I think it is possible. :thinking:

Theoretically, I would say yes. Will the wire affect the silicone over time? Will it cause stress on weakpoints?

I would love to do it - I think I need to find a test part - do you have any idea what kind of wire would I use?

@DollChick has added armatures to fbs babies. I don’t know how it would work in a partial though. But she might know.
