I have a preorder for her Charlotte. Think I will pass on this one, though. I have so many in my stash to do. BEWARE~Preorders now may mean they will come in around Christmas or shortly after. Keep those dolly dollars handy or pay in full now so you don’t get caught off guard(ie, broke) and lose your deposit.
She’s a nice, big baby. I hope some of our members will get her.
I preordered Robin. I would like to order Charlotte. It says mid-to-late November for Robin but that means probably expect the kit 2 weeks after lol
I preordered Charlotte a long time ago I thought she would have been here by now but then I saw they were extending the preorder------what------are you kidding me, when in the world is she suppose to be here??? I don’t think I’ll do this anymore. I thought it was a long time for some of the other preorders I had bought but this is ridiculous!!!
I only preordered Charlotte a few weeks ago when they extended the preorders. Not sure when she is due to arrive. When did you order her? At this point, I have so many that I want to get done right now that I hope she doesn’t come until after the holidays.
I don’t really remember without going and looking through everything but somewhere back in the spring or when ever Nikki J first brought her out. It’s been a long time ago. I have ordered other preorders since I ordered her and have received all of them a long time ago. It’s a drag!!! Had I realized it was going to take so long I probably would have gone with a different one.
I hope she comes in for those wanting to reborn for the holidays. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if that date is thrown out there to give people hope about having it in time to get done. It seems preorders done this time of year never make it in on time and it leaves us mad having money tied up for so long. Sales can be hard right after the holidays, too.
It frustrating to say the least. Why do they do this? What’s the deal, are they just tryin to get as many people to buy as they can? Why don’t they just bring some in and they can always place an order for more later? People shouldn’t have to wait this long for a kit. If they plan to take preorders for 6 to 8 months before even placing the order with the factory then they should be up front about it and let us know what kind of time frame we are looking at. Like—hey people we are having a 6 month preorder and then another 2 or so months for production so you are looking at having your kit in----say-----8-9 months, seems like a better way to do business. Can you tell I a little frustrated???
Understandably so. I believe there is a 250 minimum order for the factories. I vaguely remember reading something like that on another forum. Perhaps the preorders were extended because the minimum hadn’t been met or she is trying to get the numbers to a certain point to get a better price from the factory. Could be, too, that the factories are backed up and she figured why not get a few more orders in if there is a wait, anyway.
I remember waiting on Tina Kewy kits for 18 months.
Oh my gosh you’re kidding, that is ridiculous!!! I would be really angry at that. Glad you finally got your kit though. I have heard some stuff about her kits maybe that’s why people were frustrated.
