Yes, you read it right…4 days. And if I’m truthful, more like 5 days.
Who does that???
First they were the perfect shape, I loved them sooooo much. Baked them, moved on. Set the head on the shelf and didn’t look at it again till Tuesday. Came downstairs Tuesday morning and oops…on closer inspection, one eyebrow was about thismuch higher than the other. Okay, added a little more to the “lower” brow, baked. Looking good. Happy with brows now. Set aside, paint arms.
Wednesday, got up, went to look at the head on the shelf. Crap. Brows are too big now – stripped, using Winsor & Newton. Carefully, removing JUST the brows…well, and some paint underneath.
Layer, layer, layer, bake, bake, bake…time to do brows again. Set aside because this took most of the afternoon and lost my light.
Thursday ~ once again, using prisma pencils, carefully making sure the brows are even, not too long, not too dark, same width from nose to eye on both sides. Bake.
Okay, they look GOOD…YAY…GO ME!!! Set aside, do other stuff. Forget about it…
Until this morning. ACK!!! NO. WAY. Brows are much too dark in the early morning sunlight.
MUCH TOO DARK.
Stripped again, started over AGAIN.
Layer, layer, layer, bake, bake, bake, building skin tones to match. FINALLY, one more time, using prisma pencil, one teeny tiny stroke at a time, measuring as I go, making sure they are PERFECT, and they are DONE.
OMG. And people have the nerve to ask for a free reborn. We SHOULD be charging a thousand dollars EACH and UP!
If you got this far, thanks for reading. If you didn’t that’s okay, too, cuz I love you anyway.
