How do you NOT wanna keep every baby!?

I have just started reborning, with the intention of selling at some point…BUT, I wanna keep every baby I make! They’re so cute, I can bear to sell them. Realistically, I know I can’t keep every one

I only buy kits that I want (except when I buy heads only) so yes it’s HARD. Very very very hard. A good problem to have though

Yes I want to keep them all, some more than others. Just call me the old woman in a shoe, lol!

I want to keep them all…until I receive payment. Then all of a sudden, I’m ready to pack their bags and move them out. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have that problem now. I am having a hard time giving them up!!! Even my son came in and said please don’t sell Myloh, he’s my favorite and he has never played with dolls.

I used to be so bad with this. Got attached to every one of them and was sad to send them away. Now I only get attached to one here and there, but mostly look forward to moving them out so I can start a new one and try new techniques.

For me the joy is just making them. After my 24 year old son died in 2011 I became very interested in reborns and bought two of them…I enjoyed them for a couple weeks and then I put them away. When my youngest daughter was old enough I let her have one of them but taking them out was what made me want to try and make them. I bought paint and started by taking my Shyann apart and stripping her, never did finish her…I hate her limbs, so maybe will get new limbs for her someday. Then I bought a Meg kit and gave that one to my daughter when I finished, his name is now Hayden.
I do love holding them, and dressing them them but then Im ready to pack them away and wait until I can send them home which is also a big thrill.
My husband is home this week and will be officially on vacation after Friday (the last day he has to go in until the beginning of September) so he can help me put all these babies, that I have been stockpiling, together and list them for sale plus open my FB nursery, cant wait :slight_smile:

I am not a doll collector however I did buy an extra April and I have a Sunny to make. I always say I am a collector of doll kits, but not the babies. Weird right? But April and Sunny maybe the only two I ever keep. Or I might get them done and sell them.

@MacPhersonCrafts was selling heads along with bundle bodies recently. Bountiful Baby has a couple of REALBORN heads listed today.
