I was contacted on Rebornsdotcom by someone who says they were scammed by this website. It is using my name and image saying I am the CEO of the company! I have nothing to do with it. How do I stop this!?! So upsetting!
Here is the message I was sent:
Hey I’m Aidan and I’m contacting you to see if you know the website pristinereborn? The website states your the CEO / Founder and quite recently I was scammed out of $600 when the landen baby boy doll was $300 and the costs started to mount because of shipping except the costs are often final when you buy stuff and they kept doing direct bank transfers which is seemed as a scam method of payment… I was really excited to get the landen baby boy doll and they scammed me and kept making me pay through other bank accounts and then the shipping agency messaged me directly on WhatsApp like what Pristine did when they messaged… It’s quite strange because shipping companies don’t do that in a suspicious way like asking for direct payments and rushing me… I’m sorry for writing all this I’m just quite sad because Landen the baby boll was perfect I was so excited to receive him but was so sad when I found out it was a scam… I found the actual doll artist who owns Landen’s doll and told them scammers were using their dolls to scam people aka me and she was so sorry… I’m sorry if you were caught up in this and you aren’t the CEO / Founder but I really wanted that baby boy it would of been my first doll and I have a learning disability so I wanted to use that to sooth and help myself through life as I love babies but that was taken away from me with $600 of my money sadly
I’m confused. Whose picture is on the reborns.com One Sleeping Angel Studio nursery? It’s the same picture that’s on the Pristine reborns site. Your doll photos aren’t the only ones that are on that site. Just the prices are a clue that it’s not legit. Nobody sells full body, newborn size silicone reborns for $150. I’ll be notifying other artists as I identify them.
I reported the site to the FTC. I also contacted the scammers by the chat box, quite rude lol. I was probably arguing w/ a bot. Anyway heard back from the victim of the site. Below is another message she sent to me. She has reported the site too. Probably a hundred others out there using my name, I see pic of my dolls on Temu, eBay etc all the time. It’s getting to be to much, can you imagine what the likes of Silvia or Bianca have to deal with!!

I just did the math and I lost $1K due to the scam website… all I wanted was a baby boy doll and it was my first ever doll but it never came and it broke my heart and left me struggling to pay for daily life stuff and to be honest it broke my trust… I reported the scammer to my bank and they will investigate for 4-6 weeks and recovery money if they can and lockdown their accounts… They are overseas supposedly in America but even over here in Australia we can get them in trouble so I hope it works out because scammers like that should be ashamed of themselves… I lost $1K and now just feel broken somehow… kinda made me lose my motivation to find another doll… I’m sorry for talking a lot but thanks for telling me that it means a lot that you aren’t a scammer, I reported the website to the police cyber crime unit so hopefully that will help take the scam website down… Thanks for being so kind to me, I thought I was getting this landen baby boy doll down below in that photo… they said it was $300 but direct transfers later I’m out of $1K… I thought the cost of $300 was good considering the landen doll kit was one of the most adorable baby I ever seen but sadly I won’t be getting any baby boy doll… Hope you have an awesome day or night thanks for the message.
I would be suspicious of the person who sent you the site with your photo and info. THEY may be the scammer, they may have set up the site and then sent you their sob story. I’m so untrusting now. We have been scammed once, and they are still trying.
Thanks Joy. It’s one thing to see my stolen pics all over but to be named the CEO and founder of a scam site is beyond upsetting to me. I have worked hard to keep a solid rep these past 15 years so to think people will think I am scamming them really hurts.
She just messaged me this reply tho so she seems legit, just young. Poor dear…
Thanksss! that means a lot It’s just I’m a naive 21 year old who just wanted to own dolls for the first time which is already hard to do since I was embarrassed to own dolls as a boy but I’m not afraid anymore because as someone who has a learning disability having a doll made my childhood come back and I feel comfort in caring for babies and sadly they took advantage of my disability sadly and I’m not good at searching for dolls sadly I just hope I can find a doll at a affordable price on this website but I really thank you for being so kind and hope both our reports make a dint in removing their scam website, Wish me luck in finding a doll
A friend contacted them about removing my info. If I send them $200 dollars they will otherwise they can’t help because they need the money.
Yeah I’ll get right on that…not! I guess they stole from a lot of our nurseries on Reborns and now that I think on it I remember awhile back Dave saying a bunch of scammers keep cloning the site. I’m probably CEO of many…
It sounds like the 21 year old who got scammed is trying to give you a sob story to get you to send her a free doll. I don’t know if she is part of the scam or not but beware.
I watched enough episodes of the YT Scamfish to know that she is the one who is scamming you and giving you all those sob stories. Do not trust one words from her her. Typical scammer, IMO.
So the friend that contacted the scam website asking them to remove my info is a long time collector and well known in the community. They told her they could not help unless I paid them $200 which I will not be doing.
The young woman who contacted me on Rebornsdotcom about my name being attached to this website was scammed on the site. She has a rebornsdotcom account. She has not asked me for a doll or anything but she does have the standard sob story we are all used to down to a tee so yes I am treading lightly.
Good catch, my intuition felt her sob story was fake. Jeez if these folks would just use their brains for something that would be helpful for all. It didn’t make much sense to me how someone, the CPO was “draining” her bank account. Having said this it certainly can make for unkind drama for whoever thy are scamming. So many sick, selfish people on the web.
