Biracial boy with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes
I usually choose eye and hair colors when skin tones are done. They’re not always what I planned on. I think rooted hair is the most realistic but it’s so tedious (although painted hair can be, too.) I think this one’s an either gender baby but sometimes that doesn’t pan out the way we think it will either.
I hear you, but that’s okay! Just makes it more of a challenge for me to try to make sure it looks right, which is more fun I think! Haha!

I also think lavender could be really fitting with an Asian skin tone! Ive never seen one painted as Asian 
My suggestion - don’t listen to anyone, let her speak to you and paint her from your heart without any expectations.

Yes thats what I do also. Skin tones determine my hair and eye color.
I understand that, normally that’s what I’d do too. But I want the challenge.
