Today was an exciting day. The mailman rolled in and there was that cute little Asher. I am totally in love with this kit. His features are just stunning. Can’t wait to get this little guy started. Only problem I am having is trying to decide between Presley and Asher on which one to do first. They are both going to be alot of fun to reborn~

My post man gets here around 11:30 am. And no package 
Then at 4 pm the doorbell rang and it was the postman with my little Asher! Yeah! 
Yes I am happy! Now to wait for him Awake! Then no more until next year. Luckily that isn’t that far away!

I wonder what he would look like with dark hair? Just a thought. I’m going to make him with light brown hair. I can’t wait to paint him - that won’t be soon. To much other things going on…

@ kmstc2934 I was thinking of you today when I opened mine. I was so hoping yours arrived today as well. I can only imagine how your heart sank when Asher didn’t arrive at normal time. If your like me I pace the floor til the mailman arrives. LOL. I am so glad Asher ended up surprising you. Great way to end the day without a doubt. I have to laugh when you say after Asher awake no more til next year. LOL. Thats just around the corner. 
@ otterbaby2 I look forward to seeing some of your babies as well. I need to get a new camera. Mine is awful. No matter what I do it just doesn’t take good pics. Christmas just around the corner. I know what I want Santa to bring me. LOL!!!
@maitreasuredbabies I noticed the lop sided face also but my goodness still so cute. I had to chuckle. Anxious to see yours when done. I love the blond on Asher. I am like you but partial to my brown haired babies. Its funny how we can be so drawn to certain features. I keep pulling his little head out of the box and trying to decide which color to go. Decisions decisions!!! No wonder I love these babies so much~ Post pics when done!!!

Yes I was very happy. Men are so funny! He said no more until next year. He obviously didn’t look at the calendar. He should’ve known something was up when I quickly agreed with him. I had a hard time not to laugh at him… I’m sure he will figure that out come Thanksgiving day! Gotta love him!
@kmstc2934 I am stilling laughing. Got one home just like him. Makes me smile. So BB is throwing more great sales at us. Have to wonder if Asher awake is just around the corner. 
I keep checking in hoping hes about to show his little face. I have room on a shelf just waiting. LOL!!! 
I know I cannot wait to get him also. I am going to get him with the box that way I have the body and beads. Plus it won’t confuse my other half. I don’t want to even try to explain why I want the box. It’s just better he comes with it. I can see him asking why didn’t this one come in the box? That’s if he even noticed - I just would rather keep it the same. Plus I want the box anyways. I did look at the sale - and luckily there’s nothing I want ( so far ) I think I’m good for a while. My craft room is getting crowded I have babies and sewing in there. It’s clean at least. I wonder how long it is going to be before they put him out. I will need to remember to get eyes. But that can wait for now. With the holidays coming everyone is going to be busy… I am happy that I’m almost done with shopping. It’s not much fun because I buy for just boys. Only one girl and she never played with dolls. All of her Barbie dolls are still in there boxes. She is now 39. All the grandkids are boys! I love them but it would have been nice to have a granddaughter. Hope you’re having a great day!

I have 3 cameras and I am not sure witch one will take the best pictures. The one I used in the past a grandbaby got a hold of it and successfully destroyed it. It only took him a few seconds. I thought it was up and didn’t notice he had it. So I have 3 others that I’m going to try. It ought to be interesting. I wonder if I could get my Husband to hold the baby for me? We will see…

@kmstc2934 I am with ya on the box, it wouldn’t be the same if it didn’t have that. LOL!! I have one at home that gets easily confused when it comes to the babies as well. Same here on the sale, nothing so far I was drawn to. All its gonna take is a couple I have my eye on to pop up. I did order some more paints but I find that not to be as fun as the kits. I am trying to sit on my hands like you said you were gonna do. At least til Asher awake pops up. Where oh where is he? Since Asher asleep arrived its driving me crazy. HA HA!!! Christmas, haven’t even started!! Oh how I envy you. I always say I am gonna get it done early but that doesn’t ever happen. I never go out shopping on Black Friday. But I do hit the Black Friday sales online with my coffee in hand. So much easier!!! And yes shopping for girls is way funner then boys. When my daughter was younger she was totally into barbies and all the frilly things. My son wouldn’t have appreciated that. LOL!!! In the long run those Barbies still in the box your daughter will appreciate those down the road. They can be worth alot depending on which ones you have. Yes post pictures of your babies!!!
My older daughter loved her baby dolls and organizing her barbie house later (should have realized she was OCD then!). My younger was into dinosaurs and later pet shops. So no guarantees on granddaugters loving dolls! Trying my best to get Catherine interested long distance by sending her doll stuff! As for doll kits, I keep saying no since I haven’t been painting much but BB isn’t making it easy! On the other hand, I need bodies and hair and magnets…all the boring stuff that steals dollars from the pot so I can’t buy kits. Guess I need to get busy and make a few and sell them!
As for the box, I could care less on those since the baby won’t be in them once they are painted. Cute to get when shipped but then what? Too cute to trash and too much space taking to keep. I figure mine will end up in the pile of stored stuff just in case I ever want to sell one…

Good morning! Yes she has quite a few of the fantasy Barbie dolls. Like Cinderella and The Prince. She has a holiday one that the box was all in French. I bought it before they took it from the shelf. Then she as a lot of the precious moments babies. They are all at least 30 years old. A good collection - I had made her a doll house. It was fun but time consuming I worked on it for a year. Then it was stolen when she was moving - they took it right out of the truck. I start Christmas shopping in July. I just got tired of trying to find something that I wanted to get for someone only to find it was sold out. I don’t like being frustrated - especially at Christmas time. There are quite a few sales at that time of the year. I’m also waiting for Juliet ( I think that is right ) she has been out of stock for a while. There is one more that I want and they only sale the head. He was discontinued so I will have to order him in parts. I don’t mind as this way I get to choose. He is one I want to keep also. I forget his name… I am looking each day to see if Asher awake is available. You know what I had forgotten to do… I went on last night and fixed it. I didn’t put on there that I wanted to be notified when he was available. Since it was changed I went and did that for the one with the box. There still isn’t anything I want that is on sale… And that’s a good thing! Husband forgot our anniversary is Nov 1!

@djjessie228 You are sooooooo very right on no guarantee on what those little girls like. Mine got pretty expensive when she was younger because she loved it all and thought she needed it all. LOL! But as she gets older and sitting at 16 the taste has gotten extreme. I find myself wishing we could go back to the barbie days. Wishful thinking I know. 
As for BB no they are not making it easy. LOL! I don’t really know why I need the box because your right, it will end up in a closet cause when they are done they will be out displayed. LOL! When it comes to the bottles and bows and all the cute little things that adds up too. Its endless!!! HA HA! When I started this hobby I never dreamed how addictive it could become. But to find something you love to do is worth every single penny in my book. It won’t be long and BB will have some kits pop up that will catch your eye and you will be painting again.
@kmstc2934 I would say you have a very good collection!!! Awesome. I kept my daughters dolls, They don’t have the original box , just packed away. I figure someday she will enjoy going through them and can then decide if she wants to keep. Christmas in July! You are a very smart one to start early. You will be done and it will be us last minute crazy shoppers out there. HA HA HA!!!You said something about discontinued dolls and being able to buy the head but having to purchase the limbs separate. BB still has the heads on some of these dolls? Please tell me no because you just opened another can of worms for me! LOL!!!
Sorry about this! But yes there is a boy I wanted and he was discontinued before I had even bought from BB. So I was nosing around in all the department’s they have. I was looking where it has parts - at first I thought it was just arms and legs… O no it also has different head’s. I found the one I wanted and to me the best part is that I get to choose what arms and legs I want. I am not a real fan of the closed fist hands. Or even the toes for that matter. I forget how many they have on there but it is worth looking at…
