Great points!! Never even thought about store dolls. How about reborning Berenguers? They are adorable, plus really inexpensive. Especially if you luck out with ones you find from thrift stores and yard sales.
A kid would be thrilled with a spruced up version of something like this. You using air dry in this case is perfect!
I know, right? He would have been better off buying that $25 one from Target. It comes with clothes and is already assembled and ready for him to give to his kids.
They have that kit listed at $89.99. Wow! How is that supposed to be a âless costly but pretty kitâ
It also appears to be a bit bigger than the la newborn doll. The doll is 14 inches. The kit is 18 inches. But they look the exact same. And I bet the doll comes in the bigger size too.
I got the same doll and itâs terrible if I would have known I would have saved my $300. The limbs are closed up so I donât know how you would fill them. The kit has a terrible smell. I just feel like if I take the time to paint it it will end up being a waste of time and money I donât know anyone who looks to buy these. I think they just made up the $90 price tag even if you are a New beginner artist I would pay the extra $10 for a real kit
Get out! I was curious what type of kit Macâs was going to send for the $300 purchase. I was concerned it was going to be one of their âinsert: holiday, season, weekend, Tuesdayâ sale page.
I agree with you. It would make more sense to spend $10 more for a real kit. In reality they would probably be the same because a newby may not realize that they get free shipping at $100. And another thing that makes much more sense is to spend $20-50 less and get a bountiful baby kit. Under no circumstances is that kit a good purchase.
Yep. I knew from past experience. Last time they had a similar sale I fell for it and got a free Sarah Lyn Sanchez kit that was in their sale section for $45.
