Gloss

Has anyone ever baked their baby after some air dry gloss has been applied? I have put a layer of gloss inside the mouth and now I think I might need a little extra color on her face before putting on her sealer coat. What will happen to the gloss if I heat it?

I have done this. Depending on the brand, the gloss sometimes gets a little sticky from the heat but then as it cools it dries back out. It is not my preferred thing to do but I have had to. Just be sure not to touch it while it is warm/hot so as not to smudge it.

Thank You, I’ll give it a go.

I have also done this several times, and it’s fine, I just apply more gloss if needed

I am referring to air dry gloss on what I have baked, not paper glaze.

Air Dry Gloss from BB is what I have applied-------I baked it again and it is fine. Thank You.

I used to bake air dry all the time with no problems. Thinking seriously about making a doll using both genesis and air dry paints to get the results I want. The air dry varnishs have their pros. They just aren’t very matte.
