Been a while since I last saw this thread! My puppy Sparrow I shared above is now turning 5 next week and has a “puppy” brother Fennec who is nearly 2 now. And just a few rats have joined the family in the past 5 months

Somehow, I missed this entire thread 
Many of you are already familiar with my Calluna. Her name is Latin for the heather flower. It is what they named her at the shelter in Alabama and we kept it. Guess they were going through the flower book lol. She was a covid dog, we got her in October of 2020. She will soon be 5! She is mostly a mix of Shih Tzu and chihuahua, with some dachshund and mini pinscher thrown in. She was a big behavioral challenge when we first got her, and we almost gave her back. So glad we didn’t because she is a joy. She still doesn’t like strangers, especially men, and she guards the house like she’s a Doberman But she has such a sweet and funny personality, and she is a world class snuggler 🩷

This is my best friend, he is 7 and I’ve had him for 6 years. He is the sweetest pup, he loves everyone, almost. Today on our walk he had to cross the neighborhood street to say hello and a pat from a complete stranger working in her yard. He likes men just as much as women. He is very good at reading folks energy and rarely he will have nothing to do with them even if they speak to him:face_with_peeking_eye:
