Final sealer and painted hair

Ok, so I’m about to do the finally sealer on one of my babies, one that I’ll be painting hair on. I use a semi textured skin effect as my final sealer and want to know if I should put this on the scalp area also before painting the hair or if I should leave the scalp area alone for now then seal after the hair painting, but not make it textured. I’ve read a couple of tutorials and seen it done both ways, I don’t know if it’s preference or there’s a specific reason for doing it either way. How do you seal your babies (their heads specifically) when doing painted hair?

I like to seal hair after painting. I thick, matte, or satin finish and stroke in the direction as hair. I find it gives a bit of dimension. Eyebrows really become more lifelike when each hair is done separately.
