I just read Bobbi Barfoot’s announcement that the factory will be shut down through August due to shortage of supplies. I was wondering if and/or how this affects Bountiful Baby. I feel like I read here that BB owns their own factory. Am I wrong about that? Will we likely be seeing more variation in the vinyl than we have this past year? Will this likely cause another rise in prices?
I am feeling very discouraged. I very much enjoy reborning but think it may be time for me to call it quits.

So yes it will effect BB, maybe not as fast due to them ordering in bulk compared to others? And the use of the other factory, unless they are low on supplies as well.
Thanks for explaining, Jenni. It seems the regular kits have been out of stock most of this past year so I guess not much will change. Between the unpredictable vinyl and low to no inventory, I have done very few babies from BB kits this past year… 
I’m now grateful I have a large stash of kits. I can stay busy for a loong time without buying even one more kit.
I wish I did. I put some kits on layaway today wit MacPs. Hoping to sell a doll this week so I can get them sooner than later.
I wonder if sneak peek pre-orders are going to be higher prices when they come in.
Kit prices everywhere already went up due to COVID. I suspect this will affect them as well.
I’m curious as to if it will affect Jude’s shipping date? I mean it probably will 
. I have a hard time being patient…

I have seen posts from Turborns, Jamie Powers, Bonnie Brown, Sarah Mellman (Enchanted kreature kits) so far personally.
ALL kits that were in line to be done (even this week) are delayed

I have 4 prototypes that I was supposed to get to do this summer. Now every single one of them is delayed. And I already bought all the supplies for all of them. I guess I’ll just start a bin for all those accessories and supplies and wait patiently til winter. 
I second this. I love kits from over there and I’d like to get more. I have two kits from Germany and that’s it. One of them is almost finished.
I have seen a post from Jorja Piggott now as well 
Guess I’ll be keeping my hoard now. What will be interesting too see is if the production of knock offs increase.
They are definitely not under my bed. lol! 
Hopefully the shortage of vinyl will also stop production of knock offs. Probably not. But we can hope.
