I’m working on a kit that has very soft vinyl. It’s a larger baby with a pretty good sized head and each time I bake the head sort of distorts and collapses around the neck area. Would it be ok for me to bake the head with a towel inside so it won’t collapse?

You can use poly-fil, too. It might be easier to put in.

Oh Ok I didn’t know that. I already stuffed a towel in there to keep her shape while cooling, but it will come out easily. Her head is huge and would take a good amount of poly-fil to pack tightly lol. When I get ready to put her together can I reuse that same poly-fil or will something happen to it from being baked?

No nothing happens to the fill while baking (I use it do sit the parts on) and it does not need to be stuffed very tight, just enough to give little bit of support

I have baked heads with washrags stuffed in there for that reason and I haven’t had any problems. They just take longer to cool down since the towels hold the heat for a while.
