Working on a custom and put varnish on head for two spots that refused paint and paint start coming off. Should have been clue 1. Cleaned it all up and baked the head after everything is dry. Oven said 1hr and 45 minutes 
Head looks flat and totally different from limbs. If you have a 3M to spare I think I may need. Or is this fixable?! It looks like one ear is missing right?

Just a note also. It was in there for an hr. It looks bubbled on side.

Man I think it would have melted after an hour! Your oven works good keeping it at temperature. I guess they are y like cookies 
Are there shiny spots from warping?it may pop into place when you stuff it… but if the vinyl is shiny and flimsy it might tear easily in spots 
@Purplefetish yes when i saw it it said 1:45 and I didn’t think anything of it. In my head I was thinking ohh only a min left. So I walked away and came back when readout said :45. That’s when it clicked.
@PhotographyForLife if only. Lol I need cookies after this. I don’t see any shine though. I’m also looking at Joseph now and both sides seem somewhat symmetrical. Maybe it had to cool a little more?

I hope so. I’m still in the market for one just in case. I gotta go to my garage tomorrow morning and checkout my oven. I hope it’s not time for a new one.

Even if he doesn’t come back to his former glory, maybe he could be salvaged as a booboo baby ?
Oh course, you’d probably want to start over for your client’s custom.
Or if you end up with an extra Joe body, you could figure out a nice big head to frankenstein together. I’d personally love to see Joe’s body with a different head.
There’s always something you can do with parts.

@EmOh that’s what I was thinking I need to see what heads would work on his chunky self. The fun will be tomorrow telling my customer that I need to restart his head.

I accidentally baked one of my babies for about 45 minutes one time before I realized how long it had been and shut it off. It was shiny but fine otherwise, I was amazed it wasn’t a puddle in the bottom of my oven. I love my nuwave! It has never melted a kit which is more than I can say for the knock offs I used to have that could melt a kit in under 8 minutes.
Your Joe head looks pretty good to me. Did it end up fully reshaping?

It seems like it. I could be just really weirded out by his sculpt shape. Sometimes it seems odd depending on the angle I’m looking.
I’ve loved my nuwave. Never had any other issues.

Oh shucks! Guess what I did?! I shaved off a piece of my Rosalies nose as I was trimming eyelashes! I was using a hair cutting tool to trim eyelashes, trying to get a more realistic look… and literally shaved off part of her nose. She was so perfect too. Now I have to sell her as a booboo. I turned the spot into a scratch. But GRR! So frustrating when these things happen.
